Challenge & Solution
Our service includes providing a formwork solution for the iconic podium column design in Civic Plaza. The original design featured diamond-shaped V-Columns extended to a height of 7 meters to support the cantilever floor above, creating a visually striking architectural feature. However, after carefully analyzing the V column, our team at Consystex suggested a design revision to enhance construction efficiency and reduce costs for a total of 27 columns were required to support the podium.
Drawing upon our expertise, we developed an innovative combination solution using our Box system for the plinth and an inclined diamond-shaped column constructed with our signature Pink Tube. This unique approach allowed us to achieve the desired architectural vision while optimizing the construction process. By implementing our revised design and leveraging the efficiency of the Box system for the plinth and the Pink Tube for the inclined diamond columns, we successfully streamlined the construction process and achieved significant cost savings.
